Orlando P. Metcalf III is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of TAI Groupe, LLC providing Marketing Solutions for Business' and located in Chapel Hill - Carrboro, NC. Mr. Metcalf is a 30 year veteran of the high-technology industry.
Prior to founding TAI Groupe, LLC in 2006, Orlando held the position of Director of Product Development for Isoph, the leading provider of e-learning success solutions to membership organizations. Orlando is a 15 year veteran of Square D / Schneider Electric, a Paris based global supplier of electrical distribution and industrial automation equipment and has held a Senior Marketing Manager position working in International Product, Commercial and Marketing Communications activities. Mr. Metcalf was also the Director of Technical Services for Eagle Signal Controls, a division of Gulf +Western.
Mr. Metcalf's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Mr. Metcalf has been awarded patents for the use of Ethernet and embedded web technologies in industrial controls. He is a member of the IEEE Communications and Computer Societies and the IEEE Standards Association. Currently, he serves on the Information Technology Advisory Committee for Orange County, North Carolina.
